Meet the Team
Missy Dougherty
Missy began working part-time the summer after she graduated high school. During this time, she attended Three Rivers College where she earned an AA in Business. After graduating she began working full-time as the dental office receptionist and has been here working hard for our patients for over 35 years! She is still enjoying the work and getting to know new patients that visit the office as well as maintaining relationships she has built with patients throughout the years. She and her husband own the local Parts store and have one son who is engaged to be married. She enjoys spending time with them and many other friends and family, especially while camping or spending the day on the beautiful Current River.
Brandi Ford
Brandi’s dental career began in 2000 as a Registered Dental Hygienist and she joined the Pryor Family Dental team in 2021. She takes pride in educating patients, building relationships, and strives to deliver the highest quality care possible. Her goal is to enhance all patient experiences and leave them with a confident, healthy smile. In her free time, she enjoys life with her husband, Kyle on the farm, spending time with her children and family, playing music, fishing, and hunting. She also enjoys a party planning, decorating, and crafts. When she isn’t working you will find her enjoying outdoor activities with family.
Alexa Schrage
Alexa is a graduate of Ellington High School and has been in the dental field for 4 years. She graduated from Three Rivers Community College with her health science degree. She is soon to be married! She loves spending time with her fiancé and family. She loves baking and does plenty of it in her spare time. She takes custom orders for her home bakery. She is a dental assistant here at Pryor Family Dental and loves helping patients. She is a comfort to kids and helps create a calm atmosphere when anxiety can be associated with dental work.
Carly Russell
Carly has been at Pryor Family Dental for 5 years. Being a receptionist and treatment plan coordinator provides opportunity for connection with our patients and a way to welcome them to our dental family. She loves getting to know the surrounding communities, generations of families, and engaging with people. Working with people to help them find a way to meet their goals and witnessing it happen brings her joy. Her favorite thing is time with her husband and four children. She and her husband love “do-it-yourself” projects, building things together, and cooking together. The kids love to be involved in everything possible. She enjoys a good sense of humor, being outdoors, swimming, spending time with family and friends, days at Big Spring or on Current River, gardening, listening to music, and spontaneous dance parties with her kids.
Laney Buck
Laney is a graduate of Doniphan High School and has been in the dental field for almost 4 years. She was recently married! She enjoys spending free time with her husband and step-children. She enjoys running her boutique, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Laney is a dental assistant here at Pryor Family Dental. She loves interacting with patients and loves being able to see them become confident in their smile. She especially enjoys working with children and putting smiles on their faces.
Kim Epperson
Kim is a graduate of East Carter High School and a lifelong resident of Carter County. She began her dental career in 1995. She worked as an assistant from 1995 – 2003. She and her husband of 34 years, Ivan, have raised two sons and 1 daughter. Two of their children are married and are expanding their families. Outside of the office, Kim’s family is her greatest blessing. Being called “MiMi” by her grandson is her greatest joy and what she devotes most of her spare time to. She is beyond excited to soon have two more grand-girls join the family. She returned to work in 2018 after her children were grown. She is proud to serve our patients as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). She enjoys meeting new patients and making them feel comfortable while being in the dental office.
